Meet Dr. Willy Philias at Psychiatry of the Palm Beaches in Florida

Dr. Willy Philias grew up in Haiti and distinguished himself as an outstanding student. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from Universite d’Etat d’Haiti, Faculte de Medicine et de Pharmacie. Upon graduation in 1993, Dr. Philias performed a Family Medicine rotation for one year.

After practicing family and internal medicine over the next decade, he interned at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center from 2010-2011. He performed a Psychiatry residency from 2011 to 2014, serving with distinction becoming Junior Chief Resident in year 3 and Chief Resident in year 4. Immediately after, Dr. Philias spent a year in a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Hospital, finishing his advanced psychiatric training in June 2015.

Dr. Philias treats a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, phobias, bipolar disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, geriatric mental health, schizophrenia, and much more.
