When I first contacted Psychiatry of the Palm Beaches I was basically paralyzed by frequent anxiety attacks, frustration and basically unable to function at any level. I had worked with a psychiatrist and psychologist before and decided that at my age I needed to do something right away to break out of this vicious cycle that I was in. I looked online and decided to call Psychiatry of the Palm Beaches. I was assigned to Carl Brescia using Telehealth instead of in person, at first I was concerned about doing it online but actually realized right away that it was perfect for me at that time since I had become phobic about going places. Carl was great from the start and make it very easy for me to decide to accept his help and also to decide to help myself. Carl was friendly, enthusiastic about working with me, not judgmental about my problems and very encouraging. I felt empowered to make the necessary changes. His ‘homework’ assignments really helped me break the impasse that I was in, to learn that small changes over time become major changes – I didn’t need to change everything at once but incrementally. I was amazed how quickly I began to feel better and not have to rely on medication to make it through the day. In less than a year I was back to being a functioning person again.

I love this office. Kindal is great and very straightforward and listens to her patients. I’ve had a great experience with her. Also, Al, who works at the front desk is a sweetheart and is always communicative and helpful when i have issues regarding refills. He is funny too! Makes a bad day better.

Makenzie Cummings is an amazing psychiatrist!!! I’ve gone so long not being seen and heard by doctors but Makenzie is so rare…she hears every word and really seems to care. (this is a real post btw!!!). She makes me feel heard and it feels really good!

I cannot say enough about my experience today with the front desk and through my whole visit. All I can say is Amazing. I was filled with anxiety and by the time I left I felt so much better. Dr.Brescia is probably one of the best Dr’s I have ever been too. He takes his time, he listens to everything u have to say, I have never experienced such professionalism in my life. The front desk was so helpful, and polite never made u feel like you were asking something that was a bother to them. Just Top Notch All Around. I would recommend this practice in a minute. Thank you so much for making me feel like a person and easing my fears of going to the Dr’s..U guys are the absolute best.

My son has really bonded with Tim Andrassy who truly takes the time to listen and understand his concerns.
