Meet Ryan Loli at Psychiatry of the Palm Beaches in Florida

Ryan was raised in Miami, Florida, where he earned his medical education at St. Thomas University. Ryan’s passion for psychiatry began during a college internship at a mental health clinic. He saw how emotional support and understanding could change someone’s life. One of Ryan’s most valued memories was when a patient opened up to him after weeks of silence. Ryan was able to help this individual achieve wellness and long-lasting change. Ryan is drawn to psychiatry due to the impact of offering support and how this can positively change someone’s life. Ryan decided to dedicate his career to helping others and continue to support others, and seeing their lives improve. Ryan is passionate about helping geriatric patients in long-term living achieve wellness. He is motivated and inspired to help geriatric patients live their best lives.

Ryan has had the opportunity to work with geriatric patients in both clinical and long-term care. He has valued and appreciated the wisdom and resilience they bring. He enjoys building meaningful connections, listening to their stories, and being able to support them in maintaining dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Ryan offers calming, non-judgmental presence that helps patients feel safe opening up. Ryan is an effective listener and truly takes the time to understand where someone is coming from before offering support or solutions. He believes in working with the patient’s family, when helping a patient struggling with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. He has a strong understanding that quality patient care is prioritizing the patient and working alongside the families to reach the quality of life they deserve.

When caring for geriatric patients, Ryan focuses on being patient, attentive, and listening to their concerns, knowing that even small changes can make a big difference in their quality of life. He believes that taking the time to care for a geriatric patient is essential for quality care and getting to know each person.
