“Softball has taught me a lot about life in general and I would not be where I am without that. Softball has taught me how to be a team player and how in a team sport everyone has their own role, but they work together to achieve a common goal. Softball has taught me to be a competitor and to respect others as well as to trust the process. Trusting the process relates to life as well, especially with my patients because they may not understand why situations are occurring in that moment, and that they are meant to be uncomfortable and to challenge themselves.”
